Fallen lighthouse: Back to the past

Already in the first minutes of diving, at a depth of 9 meters, we encountered unusual grayish stones that, unlike their surroundings, were not overgrown with algae. It is assumed that these boulders have been lying on the sandy bottom for over 2000 years and that they were once the ballast of ancient Greek or Roman ships that came from the volcanic islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea, Stromboli and the Aeolian Islands.
